Why MoCity Young Entreprenuers?
MoCity Young Entrprenuers is dedicated to ensuring that our youth has the knowledge and resources to fulfill thier dreams. We aim to prepare students artistically, mentally, and spiritually to fearlessly go after after their dreams and keep them away from negative environments. MoCity Young Entreprenuers will change the stereotypes and low expectations of students living in underpriviliged neighborhoods by providing them with opportunities to create happier more fulfilling lives.
Why are students encouraged to follow their childhood dream?
What you desired as a child was your true self before society imposed on your thoughts and ways of living. Our childhood dreams essentially lead us to our to true purposes in life.
What will students gain by participating in MoCity Young Entreprenuer events?
Students will gain knowledge on varius types of art, exposure to business plan developments, higher levels of consciousness, school supplies, and networking opportunities. Most Importantly, students will gain the courage to chase after their childhood dreams which is essentially their true purpose
When and where are the events?
Open Mic Events are held monthly at various Missouri City Elementary, Middle schools, and High Schools. Our other workshops are held every two weeks at various locations throughout the Missouri City area.
How can participating in the arts solve political issues in the community?
All art, in some shape or form, comments on the state of the human condition.
If we canencourage individuals to create more progressive art opposed to art that is
detrimentalto the human mind, we can awaken and enlighten our communities to live with more progressive and positive attitudes towards life. Art is a medium in which heavy topics can be revealed, discussed, and hopefully used to create healthy solutions to issues that have continuously plagued our communities. What are the future goals of MoCity Young Entreprenuers?
The MoCity Young Entreprenuers organization aims to eventually be able to provide
spitual and artistic facilities for the greater Houston Area through the soon
opening Joie De Vivre Arts Center. Eventually all events will be held at the arts
center, along with specialized classes and workshops for various art mediums.
What is the difference between The People Party LLC. and MoCity Young Entreprenuers?
The People Party LLC. is a parent company to many other non profit organizations that aim to uplift and serve the black community, encourage and develop the artistic community, aid and develop professional development, and market services of entrepreneurs. MoCity Young Entreprenuers is a branch of The People Party LLC. that is solely dedicated to the youth.
